About Mojo Network

Mojo Network is the trading name used to operate HomeMojo (homemojo.com), EatMojo (eatmojo.com), StyleMojo (stylemojo.com) and BabyMojo (babymojo.com). This notice explains how personal information is used across all four websites.

For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email dpo@homemojo.com. This is our privacy contact address; its name does not signify the appointment of an independent or statutory Data Protection Officer.

What we use and why

• Website delivery and security: our hosting service processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, device/browser details and timestamps. This supports delivery, fault diagnosis and abuse prevention. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable publication.
• Emails and corrections: if you contact us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message and any attachments. We use them to respond and maintain accurate editorial content, relying on legitimate interests. Handling data-protection requests may also be necessary to meet our legal obligations.
• Private administration: authorised editors use email-based authentication and session information to manage the websites. This is not a reader account system. The purpose is secure access, based on legitimate interests.
• Editorial source material: we collect publicly available feed material and source links from publishers and organisations. It can include author names and people mentioned in reporting. We use this to produce attributed editorial summaries, based on legitimate interests in publishing useful information. AI-assisted drafting uses this source material, not privacy-enquiry emails.
• Privacy preferences: we store your choices in your browser so that we can respect them. Where optional audience measurement is configured, it runs only after your consent; you can withdraw that consent in Privacy settings.

Reader newsletter signups and consumer newsletter delivery are currently paused. Advertising tracking is not enabled. The private operational report goes to the operator, not to readers. We do not sell readers’ personal information.

Services involved

We use Vercel for website hosting and technical logs; Supabase for our editorial database and administrator authentication; and Groq for AI-assisted editorial drafting. Resend delivers the operator’s private operational email. Privacy-contact email is forwarded through Porkbun to the operator’s Gmail account, so Porkbun and Google process that correspondence.

If optional audience measurement is enabled, the provider is Plausible Analytics, identified in Privacy settings. Its script stays blocked until permission is given. See Cookies & storage for the current status and details.

We may also disclose relevant information when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Links to other publishers lead to separate websites with their own privacy practices.

International processing

Some service providers and their support or infrastructure operations are outside the UK. The applicable processing locations and transfer arrangements depend on the service. You can contact us for information about the arrangements and safeguards applicable to your information. Provider information is available from Vercel, Supabase, Groq, Resend, Porkbun and Google.

How long information is kept

We retain enquiry correspondence while resolving it and for any further period necessary to deal with follow-up questions, complaints or legal obligations. Relevant correction and rights-request records may be retained to document our response. Information no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted rather than kept indefinitely.

Technical logs follow the hosting service’s configured retention; incident evidence may be retained for the investigation and any related legal need. Editorial source and review records are kept while needed to support published material, attribution and corrections. Administrator records are needed while access is authorised. These are purpose-based retention criteria, not a promise that every provider deletes every copy on a fixed date.

Browser privacy choices expire after 180 days, or sooner if you clear them. Contact us if you need a retention explanation for a particular record.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Email dpo@homemojo.com with enough information for us to understand your request. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, health details or information about a child unless we specifically need and request it. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to the applicable legal rules and extensions.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us first.

Children and automated decisions

BabyMojo is written for adult parents and carers; it is not a service inviting children to submit personal information. The sites do not offer child accounts. Please contact us if you believe a child’s personal information has been submitted or published inappropriately.

AI assists editorial production. We do not use reader data to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on readers. BabyMojo drafts require human review before publication.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when our processing changes and show the date above. New tracking purposes or a future newsletter launch require their own appropriate information and controls; an existing cookie choice is not permission for those activities.
